Long time ago, Dudu2002 made me a mod of my bios from a "universal backup" app, but i didnt care to flash without backup read from a soic programmer.
Now, i bought one programmer and i did a backup of my bios
The problem now is the bins from programmer and universal backup doesnt have the same lenght
Programmer read: 7FFFF0 length
Universal backup: 67FFF0 length
Bins have different lengths, but are equals starting at 0 in Universal Backup bin and 180 000 in Programmer read.
Programmer read from 0 to 180 000 is not empty (FF), thats is what worries me, those bits are missing in the mod.
I dont know what to do, im afraid to flash the mod from universal backup app

"universal backup" - bios region only! this is not suitable for the SPI-programmer! Need your current dump...your bios chip W25Q64BV ID:0xEF4017 Size: 8192KB

I have a G510 and would like some help with modding BIOS. I'd want to remove whitelist (to install another Wi-Fi card), possibly unlock the advance menu if that's not too troublesome, and to remove the password, since that was set a long time ago, and I unfortunately don't remember it and now can't enter the setup. Will appreciate help!
