Do I need to remove whitelist in lenovo g580(20150) for CPU swap? I'm going to change my 2020m to i5 processor.
Any opinions?
I think not, I have a lenovo G580(20150) and i5 3230m
Ok, thanks. I'll post results of swap later.
I don't understand why change wifi module, what's wrong with it?
Thank you Sovem, whitelist successfully removed.
I used freeDOS and tried to navigate to the stick ( drive C: ) via "cd C:", but that didn't work, files not found, etc (several errors). People told me to do it without changedir so I tried just "C:" and it worked well.
The WLan-chip is now working (Intel Advanced-N 6235) and I'm currently trying to get Wireless Display to work.
Sovem, you're a life-safer. Thank you very much.
EDIT: managed to use intel wireless display successfully with lenovo drivers for that
Anyone? What's wrong with original broadcom module? Why are you switching it to centrino intel?
