I want to change the WLan card in my laptop and the new one isn't whitelisted. Could someone remove the whitelist for me?

Ok, let's do free limited mod for you.
Your mod is too old so update it to 5ECN96WW from official Lenovo site.
After that i will modify it but with some limited features

What do you mean limited features? I just want to use my new Wlan card, that's all features I need.
One of limited features is disabled BT on your wlan adapter.Only WiFi will works.
Limited mod require not too much time so it was be easy.

I need to whitelist this wireless module for my old lenovo.
It is a wireless card with WIFI and BT module.
After the installation of this module i see the error by Lenovo thata say i have a wireless module not authorized.
So i have disabled the WIFI in BIOS.
Good thing is that the BT module under Windows 10 works without problem.

is it possible to remove the white list completely? I've looked through this thread and it looks like the initial modder seems to have done so, but is not here anymore.
I want to add an intel centrio n2230 rather than the stock wifi card so that i can have bluetooth, but would also like to have the ability to switch to a dual band card later on if I want.
Also I was wondering why the bios mod needs to be done for each individual computer. from the posts it seems that it will brick if you don't but I would like to understand why.
