sry it took so long to get back to you, i spent the last couple of hours trying to get my head around the bios unlocking. I did manage to alter and flash this machine's bios, but it wasn't done right cuz i could boot into bios. just windows. so i quickly undid that effort and now it's back to basically stock. this next zip is from the gateway with the i5.

yes this worked, Thankyou. Not sure what i missed when i tried myself, but you have unlocked the rest of bios.

If I ever get the hang of the bios modding, I'll certainly pay it forward. A donate is coming your way.

I hope i'm not pushing my luck, by hoping that the dump2.zip may be looked at?

edit: before i apply it hastily. Is this modded bios fine to put on my other evoo lp8's?

What does difference with dump and dump2? Could you explain ?
This mod only for the machine that made the bios dump , don't crossflash them. As there are not whole identical bios between two machine ,even if they're the same model.

no problem i'll catch you tomorrow hopefully.

"dump2.zip" is the bios dump from a gateway creator 15.6" (completely different laptop maker altogether.).

I really don't want to ask for mods on 4 more bioses. (2x more EVOO lp8's, and 2x Gateway Creator) If that one (dump2.zip) is modded it still leaves 3 more bioses (2x EVOO and 1x Gateway)

I'd love to get it done myself, but i have a lack of confidence after not succeeding in my EVOO bios mod attempt earlier yesterday.

the gateway bios worke to unlock the rest of the menu. Do you mind helping with my other bioses? they are for 2 (more) different EVOO machines and 1 more gateway? I don't want to ask for too much.
