Gigabyte GA-P55-UD3 & Xeon
#11
Since my bios doesnt have internal graphics i cant turn it on or off in bios. Ive tried to boot with a hd 7950 but i get the same issue. Ive also set my sata 3 ports to not use pcie lanes and set everythingbto default but this hasnt helped either. I gonna try an old hd 5830 that my friend has. If that works does that mean i wont be able to run xeons with new gpus? And thanks for all the help, its nice that there a helpfull community for problems like this.

Can you make photos of pages in BIOS?
P.S. HD 7950 & HD 5830 aren't simple.

I can get my hands on an old ATI HD 2400, here are the photos of my bios with my pentium installed set to defaults.

Thanks.
Install your ATI HD 2400 in first PCI-E slot. Change the BIOS option Init Display First to PEG. Then replace Pentium to Xeon and try to boot up.

I've tested out the HD 2400 and i still get the same issue: fans run but keyboard and mouse dont light up and no display. Maybe the 2 xeons i purchased are faulty, if you think thats so I'll return them cause they're newly prchased.

Can you check these Xeon in other systems?

I cant cause I dont know anyone else with a 1156 motherboard. Its would be kind of strange if both xeons are faulty but maybe thats the case. My motherboard has the microcode for 3430s, 3450s are explicitly listed as supported so maybe ill try one

L3426, X3430, X3440, X3450, X3460, X3470 has the same introduction date - Sep 8, 2009.
They use common microcode!
Try to downgrade BIOS to F8.
Can you make photos of your Xeons?
