I already tried it, but as I expected before I did that (as the chip is connected to complex Lenovo protection stuffs and other components), the programmer refused. It show "overcurrent error" or so. I realized some have been successful using the clip, but it didn't work for me.

Yes I read that someone to do that give extra current directly to the chip by Power Cord external (Laptop switched off without AC) and It works !
You have to find T530 posts He was first that has experimenting this mod (He patched a bios module too LenovoWmaPolicyDxe) thanking Serg008 too.
But I would say infinite Thanks to Sovem for his efforts and helps to find new solutions and possibilities to bypass every protection and modding bioses !!!
Thanks without You We cannot experiments nothing (Super Extra) !!!
regards

I am also getting the over current error and all I have to do is supply more power to the board? If yes, I already tried powering up the motherboard with the battery and tried flashing the the bios chip but it didn't work. Any ideas?

As i know, UEFIPatch from
https://github.com/LongSoft/UEFITool
works very well. Now tested on T430, X240, T440 for whitelist bypass,
Just use it on you full flash image and write back.

Hi guys I'm relatively new to the bios modding scene, but I want to use a broadcom bios so I can make a hackintosh in this pc. I ordered a pomona chip and have wires/raspberry pi, so I was just wondering, how do I get started? Apparently I need to contact someone called Oleh, but I don't know how to pm. I know there's information needed about my system, but I don't really know how to give you that. A small helping hand would be greatly appreciated. Happy hacking!
