Acer D270 1366x768 Requests
#1
Hello,

I do much mods in my Acer D270 like add BT module, 3G module, SSD disk 4g ram etc.

on the end I buy perfect mechanical fit LCD from IVO 1366x768 but I always see resolution 1024x600 (bright settings work great)

unlock bios don't help, no reaction on change lvds settings

when I install xp embedded driver i can force lcd to run in 1366x768 but on this driver system is very unstable, no aero support etc.

Maybe someone here can help me?

according to vbios on d250 threat I read about succes modded bios and run lcd 1366x768

regards

Hello,

I had also buyed a LCD from IVO with 1366x768 and I see always this 1024x600 resolution.
Please, can someone help us to modify the BIOS / VBIOS?
The BIOS can be found here:
http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/...&SC=EMEA_8

Thanks,

I modded the D270 BIOS with a new vbios, so that the Display is now 1366x768.

I upload this for you.
The BIOS is also unlocked.

Hello density12 & All,

Thank you very much for this file.
I'm new into understanding BIOS systems. But am aware
of the USB-Stick mode Recovery procedure.

Just a few questions..hope you dont mind :-

------------------------

1) Specific to a certain Panel Model/Brand?
2) Specific to 1366 x 768 resolution only? How about 1280 x 720p? Can it accept?
Or maybe one wants to roll-back to the original resolution 1024 x 600
   Will it be a problem?

Thx

Good day.

Tell me, is it possible to change the bit depth of the signal in the bios?
and then they picked up the resolution, only there the signal is 8 bits, and not 6 bits as the matrix should be.

The image of the modified bios is attached.

Provides support for other matrices besides the standard one.
Presumably with a resolution limit up to 1920:1200.
The menus are unlocked.
The microcode of the percentage is the last one.
