(01-06-2019, 03:32 PM)toby.s Wrote: Hi there,

I'd be glad if you can delete whitelisting of batteries, WLAN and 3G/4G cards  for my Lenovo IdeaPad X131e.

Bios download: https://download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/mobiles/g8uj32us.exe
Model: ThinkPad X131e (S/N: PBYX7GY), (P/N: 33681P1)
Current bios: G8ETB2WW 2.99

I have also made a "result.rar" file using testback.exe, it's available in this post (  ) or on the DropBox.

Thank's for help Smile

Regards, Toby.

P.S. please, don't move this to dead thread, thanks.

Looking for white list all, mainly WWAN.

X131e AMD E2-1800
UEFI BIOS Version: G9ET90WW(2.50)
UEFI BIOS Date (Year-Month-Day): 2012-12-24
Machine Type Model: 33717LU

If I need to go to newer version, that is fine.

Friends,

I would be very happy if somebody could remove the blocklist added by Lenovo for batteries, WLAN (3G/4G cards, etc) for my Lenovo ThinkPad X131e.

Model: Intel® Core™ i3-2367M CPU @ 1.40GHz
Current bios: G8ETB3WW (3.00 )
Original bios download: https://download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/mobiles/g8uj34us.exe
My results/dump file: https://www.sendspace.com/file/kcaf98

Thanks in advance for any help with this.  Angel

Faithfully,
-k0nsl

PS: a well-known and very helpful forum member above me (i.e @Dudu2002) tried to help me but says my bios is write-protected. But would it be possible to forcibly downgrade the bios to an older one and then go ahead with the modification, or do someone think this modification can be done on the bios version I am currently, e.g using latest one from Lenovo's web page -- version: G8ETB3WW 3.00?

I really hope it can be done because this limitation is incredibly annoying for me.

Hi
it is impossible

Hello, Dudu2002.

Thanks for the reply. However, in the bios of this unit there's actually an option which allows to downgrade bios (currently set to "allow"). So it seems possible, actually.

Faithfully,
