Hi, I would like to switch my network card on Lenovo Z500, but unfortunately the new one is not on the whitelist. Could you please help me and send the modification of BIOS without whitelist? (current version of BIOS: 1.18, I know that there is a 1.21 version, but the installation file from lenovo support won't run on my windows 10).

Hi guys, i've got a Lenovo z500, and i'd really like to change my rotten wifi board (it's literally dying, connection is very unstable) so i found this thread and i read it very thorougly... i've read that i need to take a dump of my bios with "backup 19" tool, but i wasn't able to find that out... could you please provide it for me, so that later i could send a dump of my bios?

I have lenovo z500 with n2230 wifi card, i bought new wifi card, intel dual band n7260 , when i changed wifi card, i got this error message "unauthorized wifi card please bla bla"
So some research and i'm here. Anyway, i got my bios backup with bios backup toolkit 2.0
Can anybody help me about unlocked?? bios
and how can i update bios ? What kind of tools or process i need.

My Lenovo Z500 wireless card needs to be changed and unable to find or replace due to bios whitelist..
Kindly Unlock my Bios and Remove the Whitelist Restrictions...

Hello there, I have a Z500 with a modded bios (whitelist+advanced) and I want to flash it again.
It is working fine but my nvidia card has the code 43 error and reinstalling the bios is my last try to fix it.

Can anybody help me flash it again? I don't know what other files I need and if just flashing the current dump would work.
