Tyan Tempest i5100w
#1
Hi everyone this is my firsts post.

I want to know if someone can helpme

Since my motherboard has a maximum for ratio cmos setting , I want to
know if this feature can be free of change.

I mean I can only change the multiplier from 6 minimun to 10 maximum.
but I want to change it to 17 the multiplier, but it says
Ratios Status: Unlocked (min: 6, max: 10)
and I had two Unlocked CPUS ES.

this is the bios

Hi Mate

Sadly , there isnt really anything in this bios which has been hidden. I think AMI bioses actually have the features removed out of them most of the time , where as award bioses just have them hidden

Also , you cannot increase the maximum multiplier limit as this is what the Processors itself is capable of. Different processors support different multipliers!!!

Sorry

thanks for the reply.

I want to ask you , Is there any way to add a new option such as ram fsb
anything that has to be with overclock ?

Im new to this, so I dont know if this can be possible.
#4
No sorry i dont think its possible.

The motherboard itself probably doesnt support the features.

OK that's so sad Sad

I have other question, is there any way to see DRAM settings or something because I'm overclocking my pc using setfsb but the problem is with my dram:fsb ratio clock because is set to 5:4 and I would like to change it to 1:1 or 1:2 o something else to see if I can overclock even more my cpus but I dont have that option Sad, and I would like to know if there is any softwate that could help me or something.

Thanks a lot =D

Possibly Clockgen , but you need to know the make and manufacturer of the
PLL chip on your motherbaord (google for guides on this)

If you dont have the option , and i wasnt able to find it in the bios to unlock , then it looks like a no go Sad

Sorry
