Aero 15 OLED XC Unlock
#1
Hello, I have an Aero 15 OLED XC (10870H, 3070) and am looking to unlock the BIOS. I had tried to do this a couple months ago on win-raid but I didn't have the time to truly understand the process. Looking for someone who can guide me through the process. Last time I got stuck on unlocking the variables Sad

I would also like to mod the vbios to a higher watt one if anyone knows if that's possible on my model

my current bios is FB03

I can help you out to unlock bios menus only ,i don't do vbios modification or provide guide. I think you could attempt to find another unlocked vbios files  on the internet.

First make sure you can boot a usb stick as uefi mode on your machine(It need to disable "Secure Boot" in the bios) ,because we need to access Grub shell and change some variables then you just can re-flash the modified bios.

First do a test ,download this then unpack folder EFI to usb stick then reboot. Boot the usb stick as uefi mode ,if you can access to Grub shell successfully ,then we can start the bios modify process. And make a bios dump with this tool then attach the file.(Run dump.bat as administrator)

Okay so i disabled the secure module and was able to get into grub from the usb. And I have made the dump.

The file is too big to attach so i made a google drive link for it
https://drive.google.com/file/d/116dAbfb...sp=sharing

also just to make sure, I'll be able to undervolt my cpu after this correct?

1. After you get the menus unlocked ,go into the new Advance tab >> Power & Performance >> CPU - Power Management Control >> CPU Lock Configuration then disable "CFG Lock" and "Overclocking Lock" to activate ThrottleStop ,then do cpu undervolt via ThrottleStop.

2. Try this mod then respond to the result. (This mod only for @jpaf's laptop)

Flash went through and all is working and well.

Already seeing lower temps from undervolt.

Thanks for your help!
