Chuwi Lapbook Pro Laptop: corrupted bios
#1
Hi there,

I'm hoping that you could help me about repairing the corrupted bios.

I have a Chuwi Lapbook Pro Laptop. During the bios update it shut down itself and since then it's no longer booting.

I made a backup through CH341A programer before update, but even when I flash the backup file, nothing changes.

The motherboard is G140J REV 10 and the bios chip is 25Q80CSIG

The strange thing is, the size of the corrupted file on the chip which I attached in this message is 1MB but the size of the original bios.bin is 8MB and I cannot flash it.
Original bios data is also attached by the way, which I used in a pendrive to update the bios, that massed up everything.

I appreciate any help!

Regards

I don't get what you mean? This is the original chip on the mainboard.
Why is it not booting then if the contents are not damaged during the bios update?

I found the right chip on the mainboard, it's GD25LB64CVIG
I flashed it with the original 8MB bios.bin but nothing changed Sad
This time, even the power light doesn't flash when I try to power it on..
What could be the problem?

Yes, I saved the corrupted dump.
And the CH341A converter is 1,8V
