I have the exact same problem as the above forum user. Bought a 5G card (compatible per Lenovo website) for my gen10 X1 carbon and installed it myself. But the dreaded unauthorised card error pops up and no go! A bummer! A friend helped to get the bios dump from the X1 and said that can later write it back to the bios. But he has not modded the particular bios and this specific issue. Is there any help with that possible? Regards!Mart
