-Manufacturer: Samsung
-Netbook Model: NP-N148
-Bios revision: 01MG (01MG.M011.20101217.RHU)
-Bios Type: Phoenix BIOS
-Bios Download Link: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3793389/Win_N148P_01MG_01GU.exe

Thanks in advance.

Firstly many apologies for the delay , we possibly could have some searching issues because this post didn't appear in the list of "new posts" when i checked the requests!

Here you go , i used Samsung 2.1 SLIC + Certificate Included:-

1. Copy and paste ******.XRM-MS certificate file into C-Drive.

2. After pasting this file into C-Drive, go to START - ALL PROGRAMS - ACCESSORIES - COMMAND PROMPT. Right click on Command Prompt and RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR.

3. When Command Prompt opens, type at the prompt: slmgr.vbs -ilc c:\********.xrm-ms and hit the Enter Button. Wait for the Script Host to answer you with a message that the license was installed successfully....this could take a few minutes and so be patient.

4. After receiving the message that the license was installed successfully, type at the command prompt:

slmgr.vbs -ipk *****-*****-*****-*****-***** (Replace with any OEM SLP Product Key for your installed version of Windows 7 , they are not hard to find).Be Patient and wait for the message to say that the Product Key was successfully installed. After it says successfully installed, reboot the computer.

5. When you are back at your desktop, go to START - COMPUTER - right click on Computer and choose PROPERTIES and see if it is activated with an OEM product ID.

.

Hello Guys
I recently bought Samsung NP-N148-DP05IN.
and stuck with Win7 [ALL versions] activations.
I was using 'Windows 7 loader by Daz (upto latest v2.0)
and it wasn't working.
My netbook specifications are:
-Manufacturer: Samsung
-Netbook Model: NP-N148 plus
-Bios revision: 01GU
-Bios Type: Phoenix BIOS

Then I came across SLIC concept, after going through a lot of forums.
And I hate, flash BIOS thing, if this goes wrong then your Lappy will be piece of junk.

So, here is the few tools, after using these u'll be able to activate ANY version of win7.
1] Windows 7 loader by Gnrsu<-----------------------to activate ANY Windows 7
2] SLIC ToolKit v3.2 <--------------------------------------to see your BIOS SLIC v2.0 OR v2.1
3] WIN7 Activation v1.7 Final version by Gnrsu <--another tool for activation in case above fails
4] Windows 7 Loader v 2.0.0 by Daz<---------------- Activation for non-SLIC BIOS [means NORMAL activation]

I didnt mention links because it gets changed often.
Best way,,,,GOOOGLE it.
Best Luck.

Its there inside your extracted folder. probably your file extensions are hidden. just check it in folder options. and search for .xrm-ms inside the exxtracted folder. you will come to know.

My problem is. when i enter the product key to activate in command prompt. it didnt show any message like activated... Please someone help me out..

thank yu
