[removed] Request for whitelist removal dv7-6163us
#11
Removes the whitelist check, but you can't enter bios setup with this modded bios or it will semibrick your laptop. So setup bios correctly with original one before flashing modded.

BIOS REPOSITORY.Please consider donating (me or forum) if you like my work.
Please remember to come back and leave feedback. I hate leech and disappear thing.

Nice day.
Camilo.

I just purchased the 6163 and want to replace the wifi card. I have a 6200 I want to use as well. My question is, if I flash the modded bios I will no longer be able to enter bios? Sorry, Im a little confused.

You don't need to enter bios setup to exchange cards. It's recommended with this modded bioses (RSA Signed) not to enter bios setup, just configure bios correctly with original and then flash modded to exchange cards.

Try, if laptop semibricks then you need to open it and remove cmos battery for a few seconds to get it working again. It's you choice, this not always happen only on some machines with modded bios, in others works flawlessly and you can enter bios setup without prob. But you will not know untill you test, and not all ppl feel comfortable having to open the laptop to remove battery, that's why i recommend not entering setup with modded bios rsa signed.
