I haven`t tried inserting AHCI roms before but i guess that your notebook will not support it even if the chipset support the AHCI but you will find the manufacturer disabled something in the chipset to make it ahci unsupported .

AHMED HOSSAM

my Toshiba Satellite A215-S5802

use the AMD M690V chipset. Its a Mobile 690V chipset (codenamed RS690MC).

as i said , no AHCI option is in your bios and i hasn`t tried inserting RAID or AHCI modules before .
you can request it in the option rom section then post the modified biod here and i will unlock other options .

and note that alot of notebooks which support AHCI and when i unlock the option then it doesn`t work and work with others !! the reason is unknown..........BTW, the bios hasn`t got the option to unlock and i will unlock the other options for you .
