Bad news man, the multiplier is unlocked but the only option in it is the x6, which is the stock multiplier speed.

Also, the memory frequency option doesn't seem to do anything when enabled.

I have been watching this forum and was awaiting this Mod and the above statement is true, 6x and tested and all speeds are same. I admire your work and patience with this mod, I sure hope you figure it out, but if not, you have done alot and to that I look up to your work as a halo

frequency ratio only shows x6 but even if more options could be unlocked i don't know if it will work because, i disabled the overclock in the bios so the cpus default multiplier became 6.5, but i changed the frequency ratio in the bios to x6 , cpu-z still shows the multiplier to be 6.5, so it looks like that option doesn't work.also someone mentioned above that the memory frequency option doesn't do anything this is not the case it raises the clock speed of the memory and changes the timings, for me at least.

I would love to know what the memory ratio is with the memory frequency enabled and overclock disabled. It loosens the timings in overclock mode and may lead to faster pinmod options

i have mentioned in my previous replies that even if the frequency ratio option is unlocked it will not work properly .......... the reason is that the option has some routine that check the cpu abilities and if its not extreme edition then the option will not work and will have no effect .
the bios hasn`t got any option that will be useful for overclocking as i have unlocked all important options .

-- i have seen that you follow the pin mod method and its excellent method for you and little dangerous at the same time ...... but its very good for your issue .

i will move the thread to unlocked section and thanks for testing .
Thanks for confirming,

Hi All ,

There is a register modification should be done to make the frequency is READ/WRITE not read only .
I will try to mod the bios again next week as i have alot of exams in my college this week .

The register can be modified successfully for some CPUs to make the frequency R/W and for others this will only cause the notebook didin`t boot .
If any one can upload PIC for the cpu from CPUZ , it will help me to determine what exactly will be modified .
