#1
Good morning, sorry my bad English. This week stows reading on a way of plates intel to twirl the SLI for one string in the DSDT, would be possible to insert this string in the bios?
Link for the article is http://xdevs.com/e107_plugins/content/co...content.30 If this method will be possible for bios would like to try with my GA-X48-DQ6.

Is this for SLI with a card and an onboard card or just pci-e cards?

Thanks,

Okay after searching into your situation I have learned a couple things. First I need to know your OS, its important. Second off, it seems that for your board SLI can work by modding the HAL.dll or the Driver itself. So I can do a bios mod, or walk you through the software method.

This will automatically add the SLI certificate with a click of the mouse:

Manufacturer: GIGABYTE
Model: GA-X48-DQ6
Version: F8H
BIOS Type: Award
SLP: GIGABYTE
SLIC: GIGABYTE 2.1
Modder: random4t4x14
Tester: random4t4x14
Method: SSV3

File contents -
1. X48DQ6.F8H - Unmodified BIOS
2. X48DQ6_SLIC.F8H - SLIC 2.1 has been added
3. X48DQ6_SLICSLI.F8H - SLIC 2.1 and SLI support has been added

Please see attached readme for flashing instructions and more info about SLI support. Please be aware that while this works on my system just fine, I provide these files as-is and without any guarantee that they will work for you. That being said this board does support Quad BIOS, so flashing should be less risky. Enjoy <3

Would you be able to do the SLI inject on the GA-X48T-DQ6 BIOS?

The f7b BIOS can be found here:
http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte/284...print.html

I will also attach it here.

Thanks.

Just one question, I will have to install any SLI patch or just by installing the SLI certificate on the BIOS is enough to enable it?

Thanks again.
