Modding Gigabyte BIOS, have a question
#1
Hey guys,
Using Award SLIC Mod Tool 1.29, modding GA-P35-DS3L r2.0 BIOS F9. I do the default method (SSV3) with all DELL stuff (SLP SLIC and Certificate) and get it go say OK!, but here's my question.

When it mods the BIOS, it creates some additional files:
ACPI.BIN
ACPI_SLIC.BIN
MAIN.BIN
MAIN_SLIC.BIN

I don't know what I'm supposed to do with these.
The GA-P35DS3L BIOS from the Gigabyte website also came with:
P35DS3L.BIN

Am I supposed to swap or something?

Thanks,
dadarkda

The tool creates the name of the bios file followed by _SLIC eg. P35DS3L.BIN is original , P35DS3L_SLIC.BIN is the modded one

The other files are temporary files that the tool makes , once your mod has finished , the one you need to flash is the .bin file ending in _SLIC eg.P35DS3L_SLIC.BIN . The other files can be deleted
