Clevo D900F Unlock Hardware Monitoring
#1
Hello everyone. I'm having an issue with my Clevo D900F after upgrading from a GTX280m to an HD6970m. The new card is setting off a false overheat alarm that shuts down the machine. Would it be possible to unlock the hardware monitoring so I can turn it off? I'm running an unlocked Phoenix BIOS already but there are no options to enable/disable hardware monitoring.

Attached is the unlocked BIOS I'm running and below is a link to the stock BIOS. If such a mod is possible or if anyone has any other suggestions I'd greatly appreciate it.

Vga card temp. control is not monitored by the BIOS , may be its from the DSDT tables and i can`t modify it .

I know this a very old thread but if you get this reply I would like to know more about the D900F BIOS mod you posted. What does it unlock? what changes are there compared to the stock BIOS?

Or if anybody could reply that knows the answer, it would be much appreciated.
