Hello i was looking to have my HP pavillion DM4 bios unlocked as i need to change out the wifi card and some CPU settings for my hackintosh build to go well..

Laptop: HP Pavilion DM4-3170SE (beats edition)
Bios Version: F.08

I can patch for SLIC but i still dont get how to unlock the advanced menu.. im looking for a flag to toggle i get that but.. still it eludes me

or do it for me

i work on kernels and other subsystem functions but this bios cracking is kind of a new beast for me to look at

all i REALLY want is AHCI enable / disable
the other options are kind of negotiable at this point really just looking for the HM77 Intel raid controller options to show in bios or to be able to alter them outside of the bios

willing to brick / semi brick

i am returning the thing if i cannot get those menus as i chose it to not run windows and now HP locked me down

please let me buy you some beers for unlocking my bios options

unable to flash the only insyde flasher i have is old and flashit will not work

can you edit the flasher as well to allow the flashing of this bios? I dont know if this is possbile thank you much for your time

Hi,

I have same BIOS with yours. Have you successfully flash it. I have tried to flash it through different ways (via HP TOOS, flashit, amflash) but still no luck. I hope Camiloml will help us soon.

I just tried to flash yung latest flashit version fashit V2.0b however, I got error while decrypting.

"The BIOS image may be corrupted or does not contain the correct digital signature. The system BIOS will not be updated."

Please, help.
