Sounds sweet.. let me just ask; had no issues with just having this bios installed or have you tried changing the various options that were enabled? PLEASE dear mr jeda, reply asap! (I want to flash some bios tonight lol)

BTW, what utility did you use when flashing the modded 1.13?

At the Advanced tab, I turned off the IGP completely and can't longer boot the laptop Smile

I`ve altered quite a few settings that I have readup on first and also already know that were safe to alter,so yes no issues the utility is built into the bios`s like from Acer url,to recover a bad flash or messed up settings ,you will need a usb stick/formatted and have the bios image renamed to Q5WV1X64.fd,this worked for me,from a previous flash some months ago..not related to the above files.

Go here...read it through then what I have put at the bottom will make sense.
http://www.bios-mods.com/bios-recovery/i...-recovery/

bios image q5wv1x64.fd would become q5.bin or q5wv.bin from memory I put both on my stick that have misplaced to check, sorry.

Is there any CMOS battery inside the board? I'm thinking to remove it. Guess it won't work though ?

Doesn't the official bios recovery method work for you? Far easier than digging for a battery deep inside there man
