Hello,
I have HP Envy 14 Notebook 1015tx, and I'm stuck at F.02 BIOS, no matter which higher version BIOS, I try to install - BIOS doesn't upgrade! Therefore, I'm stuck at F.02 version of Insyde BIOS.
Also, F.02 version doesn't detect battery level properly and always shows 0%, so I'm stuck with working but *dead* battery, which gives no backup!
Can anyone suggest any solution to this problem? What are my options now?
Here's is the link to the discussion I started at hp website:
BIOS discussion at HP website
Also, can I use "cabextract" to extract the ".bin" file from .exe file and then forcefully upgrade the BIOS?

Hello BDMaster!
I now upgraded BIOS to F.26 successfully using the recovery method! But, the "battery" problem is not solved!
Now, I am getting "No battery detected!" message!
Why is the laptop's battery not getting detected?

Why is the laptop's battery not getting detected?
I rebooted and now I'm getting message -
"0% available, plugged in - not charging!"
Is the battery dead? I've used this laptop for only ~3years.
