[REQUEST] Lenovo Thinkpad Edge 14 (80ETxxWW) Whitelist Removal

Hello,

I had a little trouble with this and hoping someone could help.

I have E40 Thinkpad Edge 0578 Win 7 Pro 64 bit with Bios 2.05 80ET65WW already installed.

I tried running the whitelist removal:
ThinkPad_Edge_14_15_E40_E50_80uj37us_NWL_DOS


I get the Message:

phlash16.exe cannot sat due to incompatibility with 64 bit versions of windows.



Just wondering if anything is possible?

Hi friend,
You have to Flash using USB Dos Formatted Bootable Stick and set into Bios Secure Boot disable and CSM (USB Legacy)
able so You will reboot from USB Stick in Dos Mode and then You can run the comand !

There are two Bios files:

- BIOS $0A80000_mod_SLIC.ROM for 80xxxxxx-based computer machine types: 0578, 0579, 0301 and 0319
- BIOS $0A82000_mod_SLIC.ROM for 82xxxxxx-based computer machine types: 0199 and 0302

Choice the right one for your machine and copy the "bios-mod/bios_0A80000" or "bios-mod/bios_0A82000" folder
contents into the stick and boot in DOS mode and then run your comand flash.bat.

I have the same issue as the last couple of posters - previous links to the modified bios are no longer working.

Looking for modified BIOS so I can insert a non-whitlisted WiFi card into my laptop.
