I believe something keeps your CPU from idling ... maybe a background process or an application. I have tested E6420, E7600 and Q9300 (main CPU) and there is no problem with SpeedStep tech. Try clearing CMOS and overclock it again (make sure SpeedStep is turned on). If the problem persists then use bios file from the very first post.

). I'm having RAM issues with this mobo. I´ve bought 2x4GB Kingston DDR3 1333MHz RAM and when I insert the modules the mobo doesn´t boot. Is there any modded bios with uptodated RAM table? Is there anything I can do to have success with those RAM, or its just impossible? Thanks. Best regards.
