Original HPQ wizard fails on signature verification check.

From Dos use eRomPaq.exe Patched !!!
So download and replace It into Bios Folder then try again !

Tried with v.5.0F. It throws an error with something like
Error in file content read from disk
when I'm trying to open patched FW.

Hi friend,
as I said the issue is on HPQflash.exe the Bios Version is too new
so is not supported by old Patched version and to Patch this new
occours much time !
I will try to do this but It's difficult !

Any progress with that BIOS, guys? I have this laptop here but I need to replace the WiFi card because Broadcom support for linux is abysmal.

I haven't got time to It so You can use F.0E version :

Use eRomPaq Patched version to flash It :

DOS FLASHING :

You need :
1. DOS Flash Toolkit (All necessary to make an bootable USB stick) : http://www.sendspace.com/file/rip4sc
   This toolkit contains a Dos flash utility rompaq.exe V4.78c allowing backup and Update of modified BIOS.
   Flashing an older BIOS version is now possible with this release. (no more "Error in file content read from disk")
2. Patched EROMPAQ V5.0F (for HP EliteBook: patched version of EROMPAQ V5.0F) :  http://www.sendspace.com/file/662muo
