I know, kind of unusual for someone to reply to their own request, but here it is incase anyone else comes looking, tested and working.

Hello,

I have tried several times to get a working SLIC bios for my ASUS rampage V. Can you share the method you used for your X99 board and did you use afudos to flash it or the emergency recovery method? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

Hi,
I didn't do the mod myself (I could never get that to work either using phoenix tool or mmtool), but I did get one of the mods on mydigitalife to do it for me, and the .cap file he sent me worked using the flash tool built into the UEFI bios. The dos tool will not work though, I think it's an issue with it being a .cap file, vs the older .bin format.

Yes He is a Bigger Bios Modder from Ukraine = Serg008 !!!
and He did a Permanent Bios Slic Mod so when You will update next time your
Bios then the Slic 2.1 will remain into NVRAM and It will not need to modify again !
Great Serg008 !!! Many Thanks . . .
