I've been looking for a while now to a way to overclock CPU am my Lenovo G575 - 20081 laptop, and i've tried a lot of OC programs but none of them worked.
After i modified CPU multiplier, somehow, FSB decreased to that necessary level and the CPU frequency remain unchanged!!!
Do not get my wrong, i do not want to overclock this laptop very much, but to a level that will permit internet browsing to be a decent experience, without framing or lagging while is loading pages. And that i ques it will be if i manage to increase CPU freq from 1300Mhz up to 1500Mhz max ...

I also tried very modding tools that i came across, over the internet, end ... none of them seems to work. Phoenix Bios tools seems not want to open the saved bios file ...

Here is the bios file saved with "universal bios backup toolkit 2.0": https://www.mediafire.com/?6bsgg9d01uuio2d

Din anyone know if it is even possible to make the system to keep FSB at 100Mhz while CPU multiplier is changed to make it run at a higher freq then it's standard?!

Thank you in advance!

Here is a ... small glitch:
I could not find my bios (the bios version that is actually working on my laptop) at the lenovo site, and i could not find it anywhere on the INTERNET that is ...
Here is the link to the manufacturer bios: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/research...D=HT072969 and when i download it filename apears to be 41CN21WW(1.07) released in 03 jun 2011.

The actual bios that is installed by the manufacturer (i believe was installed by the manufacturer ... because i bought it sealed), is listed by AIDA64 or any-other programs as being 41CN28WW(V2.04) released in 5 march 2012.

I also have to mention that the laptop i found out after a bit of research, was especially build to be sold as a black-Friday sale item, and it has some differences that the initial/original item.
Those differences, as i can see are: less usb ports, only one RAM slot instead of two, one internal speaker instead of two ...

I'm guessing that the bios version difference between the original version of the G575 20081 and mine is because of the ... black-Friday build ...

I start to believe that ... no one who really knows how to mod those bioses will look into my problem in order to try help my ...
I've seen so many bios mods requests unanswered that i cannot count anymore ... and i'm guessing those guys have already employed by the ... bios manufacturer ... or they just got bored ...

Anyway, is anybody willing to point to some bios tools, to try to mod bios myself? And i mean other tools than those listed on this site, because those tools does not seems to work with insydeh2o bios ...
The only working tool that i was able to find googling the internet was ... EZh2o, but that seems to be a b.o.s, cause other than changing bios logo ... will not allow you to do anything ... unless you're very proficient in programming languages such C+ ...

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate!

Could you please help me to unlock advanced menu on Lenovo G575 laptop?

Here is the rom:
.rom   LENOVO-41CN28WW(V2.04).rom (Size: 2 MB / Downloads: 28)

I got it with Universal BIOS Backup Toolkit because version from official Lenovo support site is older than the one installed on my laptop. (I hope it was read without errors.)
