I would like to flash my G580 BIOS for whitelist and possibly Advanced Menu if that exists on this model?

Model G580 (2689)

I'd really appreciate your help!

Hey Oleh,

Thanks for the quick response.

I followed the instructions exactly but I get the following error after entering flash.bat:

Error 28: Protected Range Registers are currently set by BIOS, preventing flash access.
Please contact the target system BIOS vendor for an option to disable Protected Range Registers.

Any advice will be hugely appreciated!

Same issue. I used Rufus and also the original USBDCR, both create same error when flashing. How frustrating. I appreciate the help though!

Just tried that too. Exactly the same issue. I've tried FreeDOS and MS-Dos options.

I forgot to say, above the Error 28, it says

PDR Region does not exist.
GBE Region does not exist.

Sorry I forgot to say the first time, it's happened every time.
