[REQUEST] HP Compaq CQ60 F.65 (sp51485) BIOS Unlock
#1
Wink
If possible, I would like the BIOS of my Compaq CQ60-216DX to give me some SATA options as right now it refuses to detect a SSD I'm trying to install.

BIOS Version: F.65
BIOS Download: http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp51001-51500/sp51485.exe
--or--
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softw...5&sw_lang=[/align]

Look here for the Bios Mod :

I believe other CQ60 models have been done so those may be of some help.

Hello, I'd like to have a mod of this BIOS to be able to wake on lan the laptop.

-BIOS Link: http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp51001-51500/sp51485.exe

-Screenshots of menus: CQ_60_210_ES_F65.rar attached file below

-I believe the BIOS is not RSA signed because I tested with latest version of PhoenixTool (2.09) and didn't see the "Decrypted" sentence. Also, the original name of .FD file doesn't start with 01 or 03

Thanks a lot.

Hello!

I have a laptop and im trying to upgrade it for faster performence.
Old ram was 667mhz and my new ram 800mhz, but i cant run ram at full speed i think its because ram timing. was hoping that getting access to advance settings in bios could solve this, im also trying to upgrade cpu in this laptop and think advance settings could be of big help =)

Compaq CQ60-130EO
InsydeH20
Bios version: F65
Rev: 3,5
Bios link: http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp51001-51500/sp51485.exe

Picture from bios: http://v1.gotdns.org/cq60.jpg

I have managed to change cpu from a T4100 to a T9300
It was no problem, but was hoping that the cpu upgrade should some way change my ram timing. my new cpu runs att 800mhz fsp, same as ram.
but my ram i still stuck at timing 1:2 800:400mhz

did try play with ezH20 2.1.0.13, and tryed to edit settings under drop menu "Other" and "Setup Menu" but always get error that menu cant be found.

When trying to open Setup menu when loading bios from my dv6-2134eu
it works, and can see all options like Ram speed 667, 800mhz and more..
but when pressing button "patch" ezH20 hangs.
was hoping i could make 2 version one 667mhz and one 800mhz and hex compare to see if i could get a hint that could be usefull on my other computer.. but no luck at all..

Are you sure, this isn't one of these "I will only show you the real rating"-DDR-RAM issues? As far as I remember the DoubleDataRate makes some funny things in BIOS-programmers minds and so it can happen, that there is only 400 MHz shown as it gets this particular frequence from the chipset. Because of the special architecture of DDR it writes and reads data on the upgoing and on the downcoming parts o the sinus!
Enough of the theory, wich frequence is shown for the old ram? Should be 333 for my theory to work...

Sometimes you just have to try to be sure it is not working...

After locking at my other computer just to make compare, if im reading correct it show same thing my 800mhz ram runs at 400mhz.
so seems everything is ok :O
i did just read/understand all of the ram speed wrong =/

you are correct, it was all a misunderstanding =)

No Problem, as we are all human, we all can make some things to declare why something was malicious... Wink Sorry if you misunderstood what I wrote, I'm still not sooo experienced with technical english! Big Grin

So the RAM-data-voltage is pulsed with 400MHz, though it is read with 800MHz and this is called DDR...

I'm glad, to help you out of your misery! Smile

Was looking for advanced features or bios unlock of all features for:
HP G60T-200
Bios InsydeH20 Rev 3.5
Version: HP F.65 12/15/2010

.zip   sp51485.zip (Size: 3.49 MB / Downloads: 13)

Bios Download Link: Bios F.65 - Installed Bios
HP Website - Download location:HP G60T-200 CTO Bios Page

Took the liberty of extracting it with 7z and then zipping the files to this request.

Any help in unlocking all or some of the advanced features for SATA/Graphics/Memory/HPET/APCI/etc... would be appreciated!
