[REQUEST] HP Compaq TC1100 Whitelist Removal

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to upgrade my wireless card in my HP TC1100 tablet but I get a 104-Unsupported Network Device Error upon rebooting. I looked up the error and found out that the bios is "whitelist".

My Updated Bios is Linked below:

Sadly , none of my modding tools identify this as a proper Phoenix bios. therefore this bios cannot be opened for modding

It is possible to open bios of TC1100 with Phoenix BIOS Editor 2.2.13.
I can share it with you if you do not have it.

I even have TC1100 bios with integrated slic 2.1, somebody in China already moded the bios for "oem activation" of Windows 7. I have this bios too.

Hi, I just tried to open bios downloaded from Hp site, and this new program could not open it, but it opened the moded bios I have (bios with slic 2.1). That bios is fully functional and I am using it on my tc1100 now. Here you can download the program:

Hi all,

I wanted to add my WLAN Card to the tc1100 whitelist (broadcom)
I followed yourmethid to use the slic21 version as a base and flashed the resulting bios...

Now my tc1100 is dead !
I found a lot of phoenix recovery methods but none seems to work.
Do you have any idea which method works and/or which key conbo to use to make it flash from the usb disk ?

Try making a Phoenix Crisis Recovery Boot Disk!

google it for some detailed instructions

Alternatively , once myprogrammer arrives , if your happy to dismantle the computer and the BIOS chip is removable from its socket , i could re program it using the new chip reprogram service
