Folks,
Running 0704 bios with Quad 6600 on W7, want to use AHCI for SSD.

That bios already has AHCI option.

In the SATA configuration there is only the IDE option, in the setup of the J-Micron controller is the selection RAID-IDE-AHCI, so this option would be fine to add ssd.

Hi.

Sorry, you are ok, that selection was for Jmicron, i modded the bios so hopefully show now AHCI in the primary controller too, not only IDE.

could you make same with more recent release like 1201 ? (http://fr.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_So...#download)
Or we need to downgrade bios ? I have a 8400 2core and bios support it only since rev:1103
