Acer Idea 510 - W945GT - MXM/PCI-E Device Lock

Hello,

I'm having problems getting the system listed below working with a new MXM graphics card, I think this BIOS has been locked to work with only specific pre-approved MXM graphics cards. If this BIOS has a whitelist for MXM/PCI-E devices is there anything that can be done to work around this or edit the list?

I will have to look into this whitelist business as i dont know anything useful about it ,

will get back to you on this!

Thanks, this media PC is based on laptop parts but sometimes they restrict what graphics cards you can use etc.
