My flash drive doesn't have any LED, so I dunno if it was being read. Also there were no beeps.
I turned it off, and now it doesn't turn on anymore. No response on power button press. Do I need to disassemble it to reset? I'm gonna get my tools.

Tools?What tools?You mean it is HW SPI Programmer?Yes, just dettach CMOS for 30 sec and plug again.
If laptop not power on, so Boot Block damaged.
Only HW SPi programmer+Pomona Clip can do this job!

I would really need the hex file for the two flash chips on the mainboard (I can solder and program them but my laptop is completely dead after a failed recovery using a usb flash drive. Not a single light is flashing when I try to turn it on).
I found the hex for the 4mb flash chip somewhere else but I really need the file for the 2mb chip...
(At least I hope that it is not a hardware fault... :/ I had to recover after I got a rom checksum error (one beep) two days after updating the bios from A09 to A11...)

I would need both files too.
I got the same problem.
I have an external EEPROMER but not the two ROM-Files for programming.

In the FD-Files there are both ROM-Files included.
The 4MB and the 2MB.

Is there a way to extract both files out of the FD for using in an EEPROMER?

Or can I split the FD at a specific position.
I think somewhere in the FD-File there should be a pointer to the 4MB and 2MB ROMs (or the pointer is in the INI-File which is included in the compressed EXE BIOS-Update-File).
