Asus Striker II Xtreme nForce® 790i Ultra SLI For Support Xeon X5470

Hello to everybody!!!
I made a xeon mod to my Asus Striker to do some overclock , but my motherboard do not boot in normal mode, only in safe mode, and sometimes freeze and bios menus are slower than with a 775 Cpu.

I would like to request a microcode bios mod for ASUS STRIKER II Xtreme for support of Xeon X5470 LGA 775 to 771 or some instructions how to made de microcode update, i know that for a Ami Bios it´s easy, but do not know what kind of bios has the Asus Striker II Extreme Phoenix 100% or Award Hybrid one
My knowledge in bios things is limited flashing and little more.
My bios version is the latest 1402 (2010.02.10) from the official Asus website and i use Windows 7 ultimate (x64) with 8Gb DDr3 ram

My previous processor was a intel Quad Core Q9650

I have added microcode within the ver.1204 bios.
You can try it.If it working correctly,please give me some information(cpu-z and aida64).Because i seldom modify nv series motherboard that use 771 cpu.

If you have other 775 motherboard use 771 cpu,you can see my page.

I´ll try it and post you screens of Cpuz and aida64, thanks again.
I´m going to try if this Xeon X5470 overclocks 4,5 ghz or more and give me another two years on this platform 775.

Hi, i need one help
Goodmorning everyone. I decided to increase the memory of this motherboard asus striker II extreme where I mounted the Xeon E5472 with the bios that posted Genius239. The problem is that the asus has limited the max memory at only 8gb DDR3. I own other motherboards with nforce 790i chips and thse load of the old realaise of bios I can mount 32Gb (4x8Gb) or 64gb (4x16Gb) of ram. I wonder if someone could copy from the bios of the xfx or evga nforce ultra 790i the ram memory settings and change the Asus bios 1204 in order to make even the asus card compatible at least up to 16gb of ram.
Is possible?
