Manufacturer: Lenovo
Model: 6886CTO (Thinkpad Edge E431)
Chipset: Intel Ivy Bridge
Version: HEET48WW (1.29)
Date: 03/13/2015

Original BIOS Source: https://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc...uj15ww.exe

I was hoping to upgrade to the Intel Network 7260.HMWG.R Revised WiFi Wireless-AC 7260 H/T Dual Band 2x2 AC+Bluetooth

I have searched and poked around on here and through google but have not found anything that seems to have been a successful removal and reflashing of the BIOS.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks!

The first program I ran and already attached to my first post, however Avast registers the second program as something bad...

Also I have upgraded my BIOS I think three times already with the most current one from Lenovo.
I am not sure if that makes any difference, but it is flashable.
