(07-02-2011, 10:19 AM)AHMED HOSSAM Wrote: Well , the usb stick should abootable one and go to tutorials section to find how to make one.
Also i told you to use phlash17.exe and its commands .
please refer to my last posts in this thread to find how to use phlash17.exe .
I will post more info today please wait.
many much thanks my friend.
now this is a new story:
i tried to boot from my bootable usb stick, but bios told me that ..VANF I .. was missing. and windows also failed to boot again.
luckily i have win7 64bit ready in an other bootable usb stick, so i made a new windows installation.
then i tried the original bios 1569_A09.exe that comes with my bios and flashed the bios successfully. now it is A09.
and i understood that the reason was conflicting drivers.
So what left now is to flash with the 1569_A09 modded bios. to activate windows. now it has slic 2.0, i checked that with slictoolkit and RW and noticed slic 2.0 in both programs.
till later, am here friend waiting your responds

nice to hear that Smile the modified bios doesn`t include the slic 2.1 as you told me that you only want to unlock hidden options in your bios.
this modified bios contains 2 new unlocked menus called intel and advanced .
the intel menu contains all about QPI , cpu , mch , ich and video .
so , if you want to add slic 2.1 , i wold modify it again to put the slic 2.1 .
concerning the bootable usb stick , you should create a bootable usb stick using a program called ( hp usb dos drive ) and then put the bios.wph and the phlash17.exe into the bootable usb stick .
it is best to flash your bios in DOS, using Phlash17 on a bootable USB flash drive along with modified bios file. Download Phlash17 from here: http://mods.myftp.org/Tools/Phlash 17/Phlash17.rar OR http://www.sendspace.com/file/n4j3uz. To use phlash17 in DOS, type: ph161700 /x /FORCE /O /C /S
and here is the link to explain how to make a bootable usb stick http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-Ho...-DOS-Guide
after that just copy the bios.wph and phlash17.exe to the usb then boot from it and write the commands to flash your bios.

just flash the modified bios and tell me if the menus were unlocked ( intel menu and advanced menu ).
if you want to add slic2.1 , i can mod it for you again. so , tell me if you want to do this . Smile

ok , i will insert the slic2.1 and post it here for you Smile
but , can you flash the modified bios first to see if it works well or not !
so , if it works well , i would directly insert the slic2.1 with no changes.
and if not , i would make some changes first then insert the slic2.1 .
i`m waiting your reply and please flash it from dos using the method which i have explained for you Smile
