I will report back.

Ok, i flashed the bios, which worked perfectly, managed to boot into windows for about 2 mins, and then it froze.

All the settings in the bios were as they were from flash.

Question
Am still struggling with this upgrade..

I can get into windows and sit and watch a video for over an hour, and sometimes it will just freeze after 3 mins of no use at all.

i can sit in the bios all day lond, with no issue.

are there any more options that can be unlocked?

It might be the mod thats doing it!

Does it freeze with the original Acer locked bios?

The lockups could be due to a hardware compatibility issue or an incorrectly installed driver. Ensure all your drivers are up to date.
