Copy modbin and the BIOS into your root C drive and rename the bios to bios.bin and see if that works out.

What I would suggest, and this helps me out even beyond this specific situation, is to download a program like VirtualBox, and then create a virtual XP. All programs work fine at that point, of course.

Now of course, this is worthless for me as I have an Insyde BIOS

I did that, minus copying modbin into the root C drive; instead, I put it right in with the Dell .ROM (changed to .bin) file I was hoping to modify. The program simply flickered, gave no error message, and no response. ... is it because it's a Phoenix driver? I thought that Phoenix-Award was the same as Phoenix. I'm mistaken, aren't I? Tongue

Thanks, Wiz!
