ASRock K10N78-1394 SLIC 2.1
#1
Hi, I was wondering if someone here could mod this BIOS here for me:

http://europe.asrock.com/downloadsite/bi...(1.50).zip

I've had a look around online to see if I can find one that's already been modded, but have been unsuccessful, so I thought I'd turn to you guys after the great job that was done with the EX58 UD5 BIOS I downloaded from here.

Thanks in advance

Here you go , i used HP 2.1 SLIC + Certificate Included:-

1. Copy and paste ******.XRM-MS certificate file into C-Drive.

2. After pasting this file into C-Drive, go to START - ALL PROGRAMS - ACCESSORIES - COMMAND PROMPT. Right click on Command Prompt and RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR.

3. When Command Prompt opens, type at the prompt: slmgr.vbs -ilc c:\********.xrm-ms and hit the Enter Button. Wait for the Script Host to answer you with a message that the license was installed successfully....this could take a few minutes and so be patient.

4. After receiving the message that the license was installed successfully, type at the command prompt:

slmgr.vbs -ipk *****-*****-*****-*****-***** (Replace with any OEM SLP Product Key for your installed version of Windows 7 , they are not hard to find).Be Patient and wait for the message to say that the Product Key was sucessfully installed. After it says successfully installed, reboot the computer.

5. When you are back at your desktop, go to START - COMPUTER - right click on Computer and choose PROPERTIES and see if it is activated with an OEM product ID.

Hi mate, I'm not very familiar with the command prompt in Windows, when I used the SLIC 2.1 BIOS for my X58 UD5 board I just used the Win 7 Loader to put the certificate onto my drive and activate windows, so I should be able to do the same with this BIOS right?

Thanks for all the help man, if this BIOS works out, then I will be sure to give you guys a donation for all your help.

No , using a loader is not the same as using a bios mod.

Loader is software , just install it and off you go. Bios mod is more permanent but more risky , you may brick your motherboard and have to get a new one. Dont flash lightly!
