Asus Rampage III Black edition Bios MOD

Hi

Hardware:
  - Asus Rampage III Black Edition  no UEFI

is it possible to change with MMtool V3.22 the Bios version number ?
is it possible to update SMBBios Rom ?


I got a modded Bios on base 602 (last version of asus) with the meltdown and spectre fix from here

Changing BIOS version number requires HEX editing the BIOS.  There is no tool to make this easier.

R3E has SMBBIOS ver 2.5 and is the last non-UEFI version.  If you mean updating the data, that is possible... but all newer SMBBIOS versions are incompatible with the Legacy BIOS on the R3E.
