Asus Rampage III Extreme ZioMod Bios (Latest: 1601_S17)
Just picked up a second OCZ vertex 4. I now have my RAOD 0 setup and working. The performance is AWSOME!!. i am useing the 1601_04

I am useing:

Intel ROM 11.5.0.1582
Intel driver 11.5.0.1207

So far so good. TRIM is supposed to be working, and so far it "Feels" like it is. but we already had extensive tests done so i am sure it is.

is there a newer IRST driver or is the 11.5.0.1207 the newest that i should use with this ORom?

Zio, thanks a lot for this fresh new update. Would you happen by any chance to have a changelog for the new Intel network firmware ? I mean is it supposed to change/improve something ?

Can't download the intel drivers. I want to update my BIOS to this new one... But when I try to download the Intel drivers a message pops:

Important Note: This version of the IntelĀ® Rapid Storage Technology (RAID) has been temporarily removed from our website. Please use version 11.2.0.1006. Please contact Intel Customer Support for additional information.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Station Drivers also has v11.5.0.1347, but it's not WHQL and was released before v11.5.0.1207, probably still a beta version.

Unfortunately I couldn't find any changelog for this one. Many users from tweaktown are using it though, and it's in all Intel motherboard bioses by default since months. I didn't find any issues by using it, along with Intel Lan drivers 17.2 from Station Drivers.

There are several reports of v11.5.0.1207 causing BSODs and memory leaks, so Intel decided to remove it and furtherly investigate. I reverted back to v11.2.0.1006 as suggested on Intel's website, just to be on the safe side as I didn't experience any issue with the removed driver.

Yup the memory leak with RST 11.5 is quite impressive. Yesterday the IAStorDataMgrSvc.exe process was gobbling up 70MB. And I could see it inflate every now and then. I too reverted to 11.2. That same process is about 10/11MB. Much better...

Unfortunately performance is slightly worse with this 11.2, especially small block writes... Sad
