I have a clevo P750DM2-G laptop with a GTX 1070 and an i7 7700k. I recently wanted to put an RTX 2080 because i found a really good deal on ebay and it seemed to be compatible with mine. Unfortunatly while it displays an image, it just hangs on the bios logo and i cant enter windows or the bios. The bios version is 1.06.11 from 2017. Is there a custom bios that adds support for this laptop?
Also i am not 100 percent sure that it is a P750DM2-G because in the bios it shows that it is a P7xxDM3-G but the board i have has a z170 chipset while the DM3 varient has a z270 one. i am pretty sure this is a hybrid between both though.

- Fixed problem of the new Kepler Cards (GTX680M, K5000M etc.) only showing a black screen after driver installation
- Kepler cards now report proper HW ID of '710x' instead of '0000'

I have a problem on my Clevo P170HM3 + Nvidia K4000M (Kepler VGA card) with black screen after driver installation. I see in the post above that problem can be solved using Intel XTU. Could anyone explain me how? Many thanks in advance!
