CPU SUPPORT ON FORCE4 775 MOTHERBOARDS/custom bios

i want to use an old system as a backup,a have a gigabyte 8n-sli which supports only pentium 4-pentium d 775 processors,but it can support up to 1066fsb ,is any way the bios can recognize a q6600 or a xeon or a more powerfull cpu such the pentium d 960 which has hyperthreading?

Your motherboard doesn't support VRM11, so you can't use CPUs with Conroe core.

Only old Pentium 4 & Pentium D are supported with NetBurst microarchitecture.
