Custom OEM BIOS
#1
Hello everyone,

I'm trying to change BIOS splachscreen and background image, so it could look like our brand, not Asus or Gigabyte.

Could anyone help me to use the PhoenixTool to change the UEFI Bios Images? I got to extract the image from the BIOS, but i dont know how to open and edit the file.

Thanks in advance for any help!

You should attach or upload bios file and image file that you want to replace ,let people try to help you.

Hello Genius239!

How are you?

Here its the Bios file, can you extract the image to me? So i can edit the file and send you to insert it on BIOS.

Thanks in advance!

Your mainboard was ASUS ,so this cap type bios can't by pass from EZ flash after any modify ,so you need flash it with other method.

Please read this link ,study how to flash mod bios on ASUS mainboard.
https://www.win-raid.com/t455f16-Guide-H...-BIOS.html

I will suggest you use "Using the ASUS AI Suite" this method ,my upload has a test mod let you to try.

If you want to replace custom logo yourself from Phoenixtool ,you just only replace module "7BB28B99-61BB-11D5-9A5D-0090273FC14D" .

Thank you Genius, i made a donate for you services! Wink

I will try to make a new image and insert in the correct module, my only question is about how to insert it, i select the insert option and just insert the .bmp on the "7BB28B99-61BB-11D5-9A5D-0090273FC14D" module?

There is any way to change the BIOS layout looking? Like, changing the ASUS logo from it to some other logo?

Thanks in advance!

Thank you very much for you attention!

Know i understand it right! But how do you discover that the 7BB28B99-61BB-11D5-9A5D-0090273FC14D was the one with the splashcreen?

About the Asus logo, is the one in the upper left in this image: https://www.overclock3d.net/gfx/articles...40676l.jpg

Another doubt that i have is about creating a new form in the bios, is that possible? Like creating a "Asset Tag" field that can be fill with some numbers (Like Dell have).

On normally AMI bios ,boot logo usually on "7BB28B99-61BB-11D5-9A5D-0090273FC14D" ,so i know ,but sometimes it is fake ,real logo on other module ,like Msi motherboard.

As for other image ,need spend time to find on all of module on dump folder .
That asus logo is not a icon ,it is a background image,i remember.

Here is i found other image on bios ,it is a png image.
https://i.imgur.com/FgeutbY.png

Like DELL type ,need a bios engineer to made it.
