RAM memory is 4GB only but in the specifics of my laptop it tells me that it supports up to 8GB but when I put the RAM does not boot the operating system I do not know if that has to do with the BIOS update that installs it from the official page of my laptop the truth I do not know if this problem is due to the fact that with the update that installs the ones of DELL they have limited the expansion of the ram memory?
