I recently added a Promise RAID controller to a Vostro 260 system. The BIOS is recognizing the card as it correctly appears in the BIOS when pressing F2. However, you never see the RAID controllers BIOS screen which is needed to setup the RAID drives.
I do believe the card is working correctly since whenever I press Ctrl+F which is supposed to take you to the RAID utility, the Dell splash screen just waits. I highly suspect that the RAID configuration utility is actually running behind the Dell splash screen.
Any suggestions on either turning the splash screen off, or getting it to go away after initial boot ?
