HP EliteBook 840 G5: Help! I need to reset BIOS password!

I'm lifting this thread again, myself got the same problem with my elitebook 840 G5.

I bought this computer used and now I've decided to upgragde the drive. Find out that BIOS is password protected.

Can u guys help me out??

Hello, I have bought HP Elitebook 840 G5 laptop, but just learnt that the BIOS is protected with password. There is no chance to get if from the seller. I also cannot return the laptop. I need to update the BIOS and make some changes to the configuration.
Is there any chance to reset it without replacing the mainboard?
