now It's clear !, so may be WWan Patch is working, but issue can be on PCI slot activation !
I will give a look on other forums (You are sure of this : Lots of other people are running Crystal HD card in top slot & Wifi in bottom).

BTW, I just found out the card actually shipped from California so I should be seeing it much sooner then expected   I'll post back when it comes in and I've had a chance to test it.

Progress....

The approved HP card showed up....and it works in the second slot   

So it looks like the issue is that the WWAN slot is not whitelisted. 

The WLAN slot works with both the wireless card and the decoder - so both of those cards work and there are no whitelist issues with the WLAN slot. 
However, NOTHING works in the WWAN slot except the HP approved WWAN card 

It looks like you've given up so I will too unless someone else comes along and knows how to whitelist the WWAN slot?
