I confirm no problems so far with this bios. My vista is still actived.
Now i'm trying Win7, can someone drive me to an "HP 2.1 cert" ?

The HP cert which you have in my download will activate Windows 7...

Hey has anyone yet tried that bio on a dv6500t at all. Seems like it is same bios file numbers and is also intel. But I was wondering if anyone tried and had it work on the model yet though.

This WILL definately work on a dv6500t , as if you go to the product support page , the bios update is exactly the same file as the bios update for the dv9700t

of course you can use this update on your computer if your bios is the same as his....and this has been tested elsewhere and proven to work.
